Empowering Women, Transforming Livestock Health

stablished in 2022, SOVWA addresses the challenges of animal health in Somalia’s agro-pastoral economy, fostering innovation and community support.

Introduction

Somali Veterinary Women Association (SWVA) was established in 2022 in Mogadishu, Somalia, to address the significant challenges faced by animals in the agro-pastoral economy during the collapse of the Central Government and civil war.
